ISI BLOG & KOMEN - MANE LAGI HOT?

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera,

Today, I will be writing a serious post, closely associated with politics skirmish in Malaysia. Currently, we were fed, through various media, whether they are mainstream (TVs, radios, newspapers) or underground one (what else than blogs). In the mainstream area, you will never perceive any extreme remarks or comments, & I think everyone knows why. But, in the blogging world, it is totally different. Sometimes, it is not the content of the particular post that is steaming hot, but rather the "comments" section. Especially, when there is a war between 2 or more different commenter. Amusing & hilarious.

In mainstream media, it is kind of scarce to come across issues which is able to invoke blazing controversy. Most of the time, these "controlled media" will be busy portraying the current government good deeds to 'rakyat'. Or maybe busy telling bad stories about the oppositions. Everyday they dished out these same things, somehow they are no more impinged to some "enlightened" people. Blog on the other way round, served something better. All the so-called filtered information by the mainstream media are vigorously disclosed. Sometimes, it is hard to eminent between true facts & hoax.

So, blogging currently is a trend to practice "Freedom of Speech" by some political figures. I don't know when the trend did really start & who responsible for it, but my guess is someone from the opposition party or someone opposing the current government system. Later on, we can see even someone from the government starts to blog. People no longer heeds to the mainstream media, nowadays it revolves around blogs.

Actually I never read blogs of political people from the ruling party, not that I remembered any, except of the well-known blogs "Che Det". Well, it is hard to tell whether the 4th PM can still be considered as someone from the ruling party. So, do I read mostly blogs of someone from the opposition? Not really. I just read one or two blogs only. I love reading the posts, just for the sake of indulging myself in a stream of knowledge regarding the current political status of the country. Something I can't get from the mainstream media which is full of facades. When reaching the final paragraph of any particular posts, my heart suddenly burst to excitement. Most of the time, I will be enticed to scroll further down below of the last paragraph, until I reached the "comments" section. Know why? I quote myself from the 1st paragraph, "Sometimes, it is not the content of the particular post that is steaming hot, but rather the "comments" section. Especially, when there is a war between 2 or more different commenter".

Yes! The real excitement is when you read through all the comments. It may sounds weird, bur for me, this is the truth. The real "Freedom of Speech" exercise is actually in this comment columns. You can see real conflict in all the comments, just like watching debate, but actually, reading it. Usually, it will start with constructive critics or ideas, then came someone try to show some disagreement. When things get heated up, there you can see a bloody verbal war. No more constructive ideas whatsoever. The only things left are humiliations & insults. It is then up to the blog owner to stop this madness by blocking or delete these controversial comments. Well, for me, I just read the comments, but I am certainly not interested in joining.

-THE END-
