ISI BLOG & KOMEN - MANE LAGI HOT?

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera,

Today, I will be writing a serious post, closely associated with politics skirmish in Malaysia. Currently, we were fed, through various media, whether they are mainstream (TVs, radios, newspapers) or underground one (what else than blogs). In the mainstream area, you will never perceive any extreme remarks or comments, & I think everyone knows why. But, in the blogging world, it is totally different. Sometimes, it is not the content of the particular post that is steaming hot, but rather the "comments" section. Especially, when there is a war between 2 or more different commenter. Amusing & hilarious.

In mainstream media, it is kind of scarce to come across issues which is able to invoke blazing controversy. Most of the time, these "controlled media" will be busy portraying the current government good deeds to 'rakyat'. Or maybe busy telling bad stories about the oppositions. Everyday they dished out these same things, somehow they are no more impinged to some "enlightened" people. Blog on the other way round, served something better. All the so-called filtered information by the mainstream media are vigorously disclosed. Sometimes, it is hard to eminent between true facts & hoax.

So, blogging currently is a trend to practice "Freedom of Speech" by some political figures. I don't know when the trend did really start & who responsible for it, but my guess is someone from the opposition party or someone opposing the current government system. Later on, we can see even someone from the government starts to blog. People no longer heeds to the mainstream media, nowadays it revolves around blogs.

Actually I never read blogs of political people from the ruling party, not that I remembered any, except of the well-known blogs "Che Det". Well, it is hard to tell whether the 4th PM can still be considered as someone from the ruling party. So, do I read mostly blogs of someone from the opposition? Not really. I just read one or two blogs only. I love reading the posts, just for the sake of indulging myself in a stream of knowledge regarding the current political status of the country. Something I can't get from the mainstream media which is full of facades. When reaching the final paragraph of any particular posts, my heart suddenly burst to excitement. Most of the time, I will be enticed to scroll further down below of the last paragraph, until I reached the "comments" section. Know why? I quote myself from the 1st paragraph, "Sometimes, it is not the content of the particular post that is steaming hot, but rather the "comments" section. Especially, when there is a war between 2 or more different commenter".

Yes! The real excitement is when you read through all the comments. It may sounds weird, bur for me, this is the truth. The real "Freedom of Speech" exercise is actually in this comment columns. You can see real conflict in all the comments, just like watching debate, but actually, reading it. Usually, it will start with constructive critics or ideas, then came someone try to show some disagreement. When things get heated up, there you can see a bloody verbal war. No more constructive ideas whatsoever. The only things left are humiliations & insults. It is then up to the blog owner to stop this madness by blocking or delete these controversial comments. Well, for me, I just read the comments, but I am certainly not interested in joining.

I called Jabatan Agama Islam Selangor (JAIS) office for clarification regarding registration for 'Kursus Perkahwinan'. Someone picked up the phone, unfortunately I could barely hear her voice. Know why? Because she was answering the phone call as lazy as a sloth. When I asked her questions, she didn't answer it, but straight away asking about my particular details. Thought she was trying to check and confirmed my registration, but I am yet to submit the registration form. I tried to tell her that, but she kept insisting of having my particular details. The tone of her voice was irritating, as if I am interrupting her evening nap at the office during working hours. So, I just tell her whatever info she asked for. At the end of the conversation, she mentioned that I can come for class on the weekend. She registered it for me on the spot.

Well, it was a good thing that I can register for the class without having to submit the registration form by hand. But I am still dissatisfied with the manners of the lady. At least she can clarify everything first before suddenly asking my particular details. She may want to finish the conversation as quick as possible (so she can continue napping during working hours), but her ignorance towards my enquiries was unacceptable. And plus, the tone of her voice, if only I can punch her face through the phone to wake her up. I hope this lady can be more courteous in doing her job. Since she is working with JAIS, her attitude somehow will reflect Muslims and Islams overall.

Indah Khabar Dari Rupa

'Indah khabar dari rupa'. One of the most popular quotes among Malays. Can't think of any quote in English that share the same meaning. Too slothful to find one. Topic today related to my dining experience.

Jue & I went to Jusco Setiawangsa for dinner. I wished to have anything but nasi goreng/mee goreng/kuey tiow goreng that night. First, thought of going to A&W, but Jue disapproved,huhu... So, have to go around Jusco, hunting for place to satisfied our beastily hungrily tummy. Finally, we mutually agreed to go to this one quite 'exclusive=over-priced" restaurant for people like us. The menu are complete with pictures and prices. Very good so we know where we stand, haha!!

Jue ordered beef steak, I ordered pasta (can't remember the name). From the images, both meals look promising. B
ut when the meals finally arrived, it differ a lot from the images shown. OK, maybe the taste will be great. Both of us tuck in. Mine, taste simple, not something I hoped for, but still nice (if not compared with the price). Jue's, totally sucks. Steak was 'liat' (ape ek liat dlm english?), pasta taste like rotten(basi). Jue was incapable of eating that 'crap', so she exchanged hers with mine since I have developed my taste bud with mutant power, huhu....able to withstand damn crappy taste food.

We feel cheated. So, no longer we will step inside some fancy restaurant with some fancy price tags without someone recommendation. Unless we are very rich, and wasting money on crappy food are affordable.

Company's Policy

First of all, I would like to declare that whatever written in this entry is not an expression of discontent or any sorts towards my current company. It is just a matter of me writing nonsense and giving bit & pieces of my humble opinion.

My current job requires me to travel a lot. Last month was the most hectic one. Voluntarily, I went to the 3 out of 4 site visits, driving my own car. Supposedly can ask company to arrange flight for me, but I'd rather drive and later claim extra from milage..huhu...

As a result, the monthly claim accumulated to a very satisfying number. But actually, you already used almost half of the amount earlier (toll, petrol,...). But still ok what. Even after serviced my car, still got plenty of extra.

Then, the Finance Manager came to me. He was saying "Later if you go for site visit, please check if there is company car available. If not, then you can drive your own car". Aiyoooo...so, I asked him why. He replied easily "Company's policy, already for a long2 years". Hahaha...can't say anything after that.

I am ok with that (tipu je...mule2 bengkak gak la, tp bile pk2, dh bukan rezeki). It is undoubtedly good for company. But for me, it is not good for the employee. One thing employer should consider is that, travelling long distance for works can be EXTREMELY tiring. It is totally different when you travel while in vacation ok!! Plus, when you have to travel far without overnight stay, yet because of another COMPANY's POLICY. Please do take this into considerations before implying any policies. For someone with salary more than 10k, this milage claim may sounds irrelevant. But for employee like me, it is very2 important..hehehe...

But for now, just have to abide to the policy la. Perhaps, in future I can find a more considerate employer. But, not planning on changing job yet. Haha!!

Lelaki Jual Ikan

Since my English have been so corrupted, due to long term unexploited, I have determined to write this entry in English. May sound / read like primary school student English, or maybe even worse? Huhu…

Few days back then, while driving to work, listened to radio and this was what I heard. There was this woman, lamented about her problem. She just engaged few days ago. Suddenly, after 2-3 days, her fiancĂ© wanted to call it off. You know what his reason is?-“lung cancer”. Yeah…obviously he’s a smoker, so the possibility is there. Plus, ask her not to concern about him (do not call, do not visit & whatsoever means of communication la). The woman was down in the dumps. I guess she tried not to, but concede to her sadness + shock + wtf, she cried teresak2 (ape teresak2 in English?).

So, what can we deduce from her story. For me, he is one selfish guy. He better off go and sell some fish (wth!!). Want to use far more obscene words for him, but try not to lose equanimity here..huhu.. Why have to wait that long to spill the beans? Is he suddenly come up with an idea to have a medical check up right after the engagement day?

His hastily made decision is not a wise one. Unless, he has different hidden agenda, and I think most of us can easily unravel it (if really there is a hidden agenda..huhu). No need for me to waste my working time to explain. Plus, nobody might even border to read my blog. Or maybe no one ever knows the existence of this blog. (Warning!! It is hazardous to blog within office hour, unless your seat is at the most strategic place. Beware of any CCTV!! Haha!!)

Well, for the woman, I guess if you still love him, try to reason with him. Don’t just giving up on him yet. But still, this is only relevant if his reason is beyond doubt because of the illness.

Anyhow, I am still puzzled, why that guy so stupid la….
